• As many long-time, die hard SCC fans will recall, the cessation of active campaign organization here at savethescc.com was a decision driven in part by the standstill in the Terminator franchise following Pacificor's procurement of film rights.

    In December 2012, Annapurna Pictures finalized a deal with Pacificor for the rights to additional film installments in the Terminator franchise, which represents the first new activity in the Terminator 'verse since the cancellation of The Sarah Connor Chronicles.

    So if you're reading this, remember that you are the Resistance and that it doesn't hurt to take a minute or two to remind the WB of that.

    No fate.

    To Whom It May Concern;

    It’s about money. Revenue streams, profit maximizing, strategic investment…it all boils down to money. We understand that, just as we understand quality, perseverance and building for the future. In the world of television and filmmaking, these two concerns can often clash and are typically deemed incompatible.

    We believe that profitability and quality are not mutually exclusive, that the intersect of excellence and success is as attainable in the entertainment industry as it is in the financial industry. We believe that this perfect storm can be found in The Sarah Connor Chronicles.

    Far from an over the top celebration of violence or tough to understand pseudo-science, The Sarah Connor Chronicles brought together the perfect mix of action, character development, and story in a package enjoyable by both veteran fans and newcomers alike. Not just a show with a narrow target viewing market, The Sarah Connor Chronicles is enjoyed by individuals, friends, and families of all ages and and interests.

    The Sarah Connor Chronicles took the Terminator franchise to the small screen and built a depth, a richness, that was both unheard of and unexpected in a film series that was known for explosions and big guns. The television series took the core of what made the movies great and added a whole new quality through fuller characters, deeper plots and a level of insight that captured the attention of millions of domestic viewers every week and continues to captivate audiences around the world.

    The series is an untapped well, a hidden vein of gold waiting to be discovered. It is the future of the franchise, one that now rests in your hands.

    There is no fate. Save Sarah Connor.

    General Form Letter

    Dear [name here],

    I am writing as a fan of the cancelled television series Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles to convey the highly profitable potential of this show. Should the WB be given the opportunity to continue this unique program in any way, shape, or form, I would hope that they would give it serious consideration.

    The Sarah Connor Chronicles is still a marketable asset. The show’s millions of viewers are devastated over the cancellation and would, I believe, gladly follow a continuation in any form that stayed true to what made this show so special. The FOX Network’s cancellation decision can be traced to a number of questionable factors, but it cannot be denied that the show has plenty of room to continue its story, whether it be in the form of a third season or a DVD movie.

    This show offers something special for both veteran Terminator fans, veteran science fiction fans, and newcomers: quality. It combines intense action with mind-blowing special effects with human dynamics, all rolled together in one truly unique series. The Sarah Connor Chronicles has too much potential to lose now and I believe the WB has a lot to gain by restoring this show.

    Many of us, including myself, have followed the show since it premiered in its first season, watched it live, DVR’d it and rewatched it repeatedly within the next few days, purchased both Season 1 and 2 on DVD and/or Blu-Ray. There are millions more around the world anxiously awaiting the Season 2 release, the impact of which I believe will effectively demonstrate the marketable potential of this show that can no longer be ignored.

    Fans have pulled together in a global effort to demonstrate that we’re a market with a strong demand, waiting for you, the WB.

    We’re fighting to Bring Back Sarah Connor. Will you join us?
