Great! Can’t wait. When do we start donating for this thing?

I saw on the Wikipedia site for Chuck, http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chuck_(TV_series), That they managed to get Subway to sponsor them, this helped save the series. This would probably mean that there would be some product placement which is actually cool lol. So hopefully TSCC can get a sponsor and quickly because the cast members will move on from it and the show would be lost for good. This would be beneficial for the whole world because who doesn’t like TSCC?

Let’s hope this will be a success. The TSCC-fans from Germany will definitely support you.

Well I hope that TTSCC does get a sponsor because the cliffhanger in the end of Season 2 still does my head in.

We could try to get DELL or HP support or even a local manufacturer or cellphone maker i don’t know… that would be a good idea…. by the way, do we have news about “media kits” that were sent to channels ?

Sounds great. I will definitely contribute, and maybe my siblings will too. Can’t wait for it to air!

@Almo W,
All the talent for the show has already moved on. However I do very much hope they all come back provided that the show is revived in some way shape or form. That season cliffhanger was bigger than the cliffhanger for Sledgehammer and for the Fox President to say it has run its course? BS!!! That guy must not have even watched it. Jack @ss!

Excellent idea…and the sponsorship is a smart way to go.
I heard rumor that Sony may be interested in purchasing the franchise. Should we start focusing on that at all? Do we have anyone at Sony’s investment branch or Sony Pictures to contact with our support for their taking on of the franchise and support of the show?

Interesting idea.
@ Almo W Actually TSCC had product placement…the Ford F150 was very prominent. Ford was even credited in the end credits.
Direct TV also started to appear as a tiny logo towards the end of the season.
And here is the link that DJG mentioned: http://www.savethescc.com/news/2009/11/terminator-franchise-to-be-auctioned-off/
It will be interesting to see who actually buys the rights to terminator…because then we know what company to persuade.
And if it is Sony…they will be hearing from us as well!!!

So it’s true.. The rumors that season 3 is cancelled. I’m so disappointed.
Alright then, I’ll be supporting the TSCC!

Does anyone know when the auction will be taking place? It seems no one wants to take the risk in buying the franchise. Even James Cameron said he wouldn’t want to make a bid. Lol this comment was suppose to be a response to yeshermione but the reply button didn’t work.

if i had a camera i would participate without a doubt. but i don’t have one, so yeah,
I encourage everyone who has a camera to participate :O i<m so tweeting this AND facebooking it too. we never know.

It is about the auction of the Terminator franchise. I don’t know if this is good or bad news, though. Just sharing.

@ Almo W Also Verizon was the sponsor for S1. Forgot that one!!!
@ Claudio
They keep talking about the movies…I’d rather focus on the TV show. But they are not going to talk about TSCC in articles like that because a film has bigger numbers and $’s ec. Also notice James Cameron has never been asked in interviews about TSCC only about the films. (Yes I read that article Almo W!)
It’s an interesting deal if it passes. And who knows who else can come along.
I am not surprised if Halcyon does not get its original asking price. To high…
FYI about LIONSGATE it is a mostly independent film and television distribution company. They also have a Lionsgate Television section that has a number of ’hit tv shows listed’. (See http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lions_Gate_Entertainment )
If the sale date really is Feb 1…this should be interesting.

The auction is over. Honestly, from what I know, this does not seem to be good news…

I love the TV series, but honestly, I can really understand why FOX couldn’t keep it up. Have you ever seen a TV series with this high a budget? Each episode was practically a mini special effects movie. It was outlandishly expensive as it was, and then for season 3, they wanted to set everything in the future, meaning the cost of sets and special effects would exponentially increase. I have no doubt that the third season would be the best yet, but dang…It’s sad, but if FOX can’t afford it, then you can’t be too upset with them.
It’s good that they’re looking for outside funding out the wazoo…they’re going to need it.
